Sisters in Sweethearts - a Special Valentine's Day Edition 👩❤️👩
I first designed the Sweethearts Dress (formerly known as Pretty Please) four years ago when I stumbled upon the most amazing gold foiled hearts print on blush chiffon in Los Angeles. I knew right away what I wanted to create with this beautiful fabric. I bought up the entire roll of fabric and got to work right away on the design.
June was about 2.5 yrs old at the time and she was all hearts eyes when she saw the sample I had made for her. She wore her pretty dress everywhere she could - on the playground, to church, for picture day, literally everywhere she could- and she would receive compliments all the time (to which she would shyly (but proudly) tell people that mommy made it for her). I soon found myself washing it week after week...until she outgrew it. Then, thankfully, I repurchased the dress back from my mother in law who had bought the last size 6 from us, so this year, June got to have her "special dress with hearts on it again."
That first year we launched in February, the dress did not make it in time for Valentine's Day (oops), but nearly sold out when we launched. When I finally was able to get more of this fabric, I knew it would be something that little girls like June would enjoy wearing to just about anywhere, and I couldn't be more excited!
This year, we are releasing a limited run (all fabrics have been used up!) but I found some pink heart buttons that I think add a really special touch to this dress. I'm so excited for your little sweethearts to wear them. It definitely has a special place in my heart. Be sure to tag us @elestory and #EleStory so we can see your sweet girls wearing EleStory!
For those mamas out there who aren't sure what to pair with your littles, consider our softest Twirly Tulle Skirts in Icy pink or Gold!
These beautiful girls belong to none other than the gorgeous and talented Ms. Ali Moore at AlisonMoorePhotography. So grateful for how she and the girls continue to help capture and model my designs so flawlessly. Thank you Ali and girls!

Judy
