Enchanted Lace: Legacy of a Lace Dress 🤍

When I first designed the Enchanted Lace dress, I had no idea how deeply it would come to represent the heart of my brand and my family’s story.

It all started in 2015, when my older daughter June was asked to be the flower girl at a dear friend’s wedding. Since she was the only flower girl, the bride left the style of the flower girl dress to me. Excited for the opportunity to design a one-of-a-kind flower girl dress for 4 year-old June, I poured my heart into creating a dress that to me, represented timeless elegance, innocence, and beauty -- not to mention comfort. I had always loved lace and the texture of swiss dot, so the design came effortlessly to me. And, the best part, little June loved it.

Two years later, the first Enchanted Lace collection made its debut into the world, and featured a matching women’s lace skirt.Â

The following year, we added the Enchanted Lace dress for women, which instantly became a bestseller.Â

This beautiful mommy-and-me set has since become one of our most beloved designs, gracing weddings, family celebrations, and everyday moments. Now, after years of seeing it hold special meaning for so many, I’m thrilled to re-release this cherished collection for a new generation.
For me, the Enchanted Lace collection has always been more than just beautiful lace and silhouettes (although it truly is). When I created the very first girl's version for June, I unknowingly wove threads of my own mother’s memory into the design.
My late mother had a beautiful ivory lace dress that I always loved. She wore it to a graduation ceremony as the principal of the preschool my grandparents founded in Taiwan. As I grew taller, I proudly wore that same dress to a piano recital. Although I haven’t been able to locate the dress since my mother passed away 18 years ago, it remains etched in my memory. Her innate sense of fashion and elegance has always inspired my work, and that dress served as a guiding influence for this collection.
When June wore her first Enchanted Lace dress down the aisle as a flower girl, it wasn’t just a special moment for her. It was a moment that honored the legacy of the women who came before her, reminding me that fashion can connect us to our past and help create new memories for the future.

One of my greatest joys in sharing the Enchanted Lace collection has been hearing how it has become part of your stories. From sweet flower girls at weddings and birthday celebrations, to mothers and daughters twinning in family photos, expectant mamas finding it perfect for maternity shoots, and even brides choosing it for their own weddings—this collection has graced so many special moments.Â
Knowing that something I created holds such meaning for others is humbling. The Enchanted Lace dress has truly become a legacy piece, and I hope it continues to bring joy and beauty to your cherished memories for years to come.
As we reintroduce this collection, my hope is that it will bring beauty and meaning to new celebrations, new milestones, and new stories. Thank you for being part of this journey and for letting the Enchanted Lace dress weave its way into your lives.
With much love and gratitude,
Judy
